JoAnn Reed, age 91, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Monday, May 5th, 2025, at Johnston Memorial Hospital, in Abingdon, VA with her granddaughters Ashley and Angelina by her side.

She was born on February 13, 1934 to the late Millard and Rosetta (DePriest) Reaper. In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband Gilford T. Reed and brothers Melvin, Les, June and infant brother Gerald, sisters Shirley Hodge, Geneva Wolfel, and Caroline Powrandas and grandson Bobby Cvetic.

She is survived by her son David Reed and wife Carolyn, son Richard Jarvis and wife Jill, and daughter Susan Mahle, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
