Jerry Allen Cox, 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025.

Born to the late James and Ruth Cox, Jerry lived a life filled with kindness, curiosity, and compassion. He had a deep love for animals, a passion for golf, and a lifelong enjoyment of motorcycles. Jerry also gave generously of his time through volunteer work, always eager to lend a hand and make a difference in his community.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Cox.

Jerry is survived by his children Britta Larimer (Rich); William Boardwine; Craig Cox (Vikki); and Colin Cox (Meghan). He also leaves behind several grandchildren who brought him great joy; two brothers, Daryl Cox (Beth) and Keith Cox; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who will remember him with love.

Jerry's kindness, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, Virginia with Greg Willis officiating.
