James Lee Sorah, 70, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

He was born April 10, 1953, to the late Willard and Helen Sorah. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and in his younger days, he enjoyed singing in the church choir.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Sorah of Damascus, Virginia.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Brenda Sorah; daughter, Carla Bidwell and husband Chris of West Hartford, Connecticut; son, Jacob Sorah, of Bristol, Virginia; two grandchildren, whom he adored, Lizzy Bidwell and Deegan Sorah; special friend, Roger Dotson; and his dog, Holly.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 28, 2023, from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Frost Funeral Home. Entombment will be private.
