J.R. Fleenor II, age 66, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at his home in Pleasantdale community of Washington County, VA. He was the son of the late James Roger Fleenor and Ruth Ann Ferguson Fleenor.

He was born and raised, and spent most of his adult life on the family farm. Having retired as a bail bondsman, he enjoyed hunting and observing wildlife.

He is survived by several cousins.

A graveside service be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Fleenor's Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:45 P.M.
