Gilda Bower Keller passed away at the age of 97 on October 6, 2025.

Gilda was born in Washington County, Virginia on August 4, 1928, the 4th of 5 children of Johnsie and B T Bower.

Gilda was the widow of W Blair Keller Jr who passed away in 2015 at the age of 85.

Gilda and Blair resided their entire lives in Washington County. They enjoyed traveling across the United States and to several foreign countries with their friends. Gilda has now traveled to join Blair in eternity in their spiritual bodies.

Gilda was a member of the Green Spring Presbyterian Church which she attended faithfully until her health kept her from going.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one sister Nerine Thomas and her husband David, brother Benjamin Dwayne Bower and wife Evelyn, and brother Jack Bower and brother-in-law Bobby Smeltzer.

She is survived by her two children Teresa Keller and husband Fred Johnson, son Walter Keller and wife Sylvia, her one and only very special to her grandson Wesley Keller and Wife Tanya her one and only great granddaughter whom she dearly loved Sophia Keller, and one sister Georgia Smeltzer.

Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, Jack's wife Sue and many friends.

At Gilda's request all arrangements will be private.
