George Fred Scott, 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Abingdon Health and Rehab Center with a long battle with Parkinson's.

George was born in Marion, Virginia to George Lucien Scott and Margaret Irene Musser. George is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sheila Walton Scott, daughter, Sonia Scott Eden, granddaughter, Stephani Renee Carbary, grandson, Brian Tylor Carbary. He is survived by his daughter, Judy Rhea Scott, three grand-children; Emily Faith Carbary and companion Cody Yates, Dustin Blake Scott and companion Kiera Combs, Alisa Dawn Scott and companion Nathan Browning, one great-grandson, Jaxon Tyler Eastridge and many friends also survive.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Sugar Hollow Park Shelter D.
