Evelyn Waters Henegar Gregory (78) of Abingdon, VA departed her earthly life, Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend.

She leaves behind her daughter, Amy Westmoreland and husband Matt, son Dan Henegar, stepdaughter Rebecca McCracken, sister Sandra Odem and husband Hank, brother Tom Waters, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her faithful caregiver Donna Watson, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

She is predeceased by her parents Tom & Louise Waters, her former husband and father of her children, Wayne Henegar and husband Jim Gregory.

In keeping with Evelyn's wishes, there will be no service.
