In Loving Memory of Euva Sutherland

January 20, 1937 – July 8, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Euva Sutherland, who peacefully entered her eternal home on July 8, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on January 20, 1937, Euva lived a life defined by unconditional love, quiet strength, selflessness, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Euva was the kind of mother and grandmother whose love knew no limits. She always placed the needs of others before her own, offering comfort, wisdom, and encouragement to anyone who needed her. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and acceptance, and she never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to those she loved.

After enduring the heartbreaking loss of her beloved daughter, Tamara J. Galliher, in February 2026, Euva found comfort in the hope of being reunited with her. On July 8, that reunion became a reality.

Euva was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Sutherland; her cherished daughter, Tamara J. Galliher; her precious great-grandson, Hayden Elijah Sparks; her parents, Ethel and William Higgins; her brothers, Graden, Pink, and Junior Higgins; and many other beloved family members and friends who welcomed her into Heaven.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Rick Sutherland and his wife, Lisa Sutherland; the surviving husband of her daughter, William Galliher; her grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Morgan Barton and her husband, Mike Barton, and Kelsey Sutherland; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Riley Jones, Kenzee Barton, Ember Chapman, Ridley Chapman, and Odin Chapman. She also leaves behind many cousins, dear friends, extended family members, and loved ones who will deeply mourn her passing.

Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing that Euva has been reunited with the love of her life, her precious daughter, and so many loved ones who went before her. The love she shared, the kindness she showed, and the sacrifices she made for her family will continue to live on through each generation she helped shape.

Her memory will forever be a blessing, her love will never fade, and her legacy will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

"A mother's love is eternal, and a grandmother's love is a gift that lives on forever. Though she is no longer by our side, she will forever be in our hearts."
