Esther Louise Wishon Hickman, 91, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

Louise was born on July 23, 1931 to the late Rev. Julius Dewey Wishon and Maggie Earls Wishon, and was of the Baptist faith.

Including her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Bud Hicks; two sons, Clyde and Bob Hicks; brother, Elmer Wishon; and three sisters, Ruth Elliot, Libby Cornett, and Rachel Wishon.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Kelly and husband Mark; three sisters, Virginia Moorefield, Evelyn Chapman, and Faye Parrish; eight grandchildren, Mary (Jeff) Booker, Vickie Booher, Letisha (Danny) Reece, Barbara (June) Deel, Pam (Ron) Steiger, Elliot (Kim) Hicks, and Jasmine Hicks, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Frost Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2022 with Pastor Brian Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Glade Baptist Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
