Elizabeth Sailor Farmer, 85, passed away Saturday, April 06, 2024 at Abingdon Health and Rehab with her loving family by her side.

Mrs. Farmer was born June 10, 1938 to the late Dave Preston Sailor and Phoeby Ellen Shaw Sailor in Abingdon, VA.

Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John David Farmer; also, several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three daughters, Debra Penley, Theresa Fritz, and Vicky Farmer; one son, Johnny Farmer; one sister, Joyce Hicks; three brothers, Bobby, Michael, and Ricky Sailor; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; also,

several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Farmer will be held privately.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Abingdon Health and Rehab, as well as the staff at Johnston Memorial Hospital especially Missie Akers and Jacob.

The family will be receiving family and friends at the home of Mrs. Vicky Farmer.
