Eleanor Clark Groseclose, 82, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023.

Eleanor was born on August 29, 1941 in Abingdon, Virginia to the late John Clark and Lenna Mae Bailey Clark Miles. She thoroughly enjoyed working crossword puzzles and spending time with her K-9 companion Rhudi. Above all she was an exceptional wife, mother and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Groseclose; son Billy Jack Groseclose II; her sisters, Joyce Troitino, Mary Calandros, Sara Groseclose, and Becky Worley; brother, John Clark; and many others.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Bobbi Groseclose and Ron Sigel of Seymour, and Charlotte Groseclose of Piney Flats; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; one special great-great nephew, "Sonny" Burns who brought her great joy in the last year of her life. Her very special nieces Sherrie Stone, Sandy Johnson, Nikki Johnson who also brought so much happiness throughout her life taking her on new adventures and just spending time with her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Frost Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Reverend Jerry A. Eggers officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:00 P.M. to go in procession.
