Edmund Lesniak, age 91, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Abingdon Health and Rehabilitation.

He was born on October 13, 1932, in Poznan, Poland, a son of the late Leon Lesniak and Maria Zyto Lesniak.

Edmund lived the last 23 years in Abingdon, Virginia. He was a chemist working for Union Carbide.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his five brothers; Jerzy, Boleslaw, Mieczyslaw, Henryk, and Jan.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Barbara M. Stiller Lesniak; one daughter, Beata Paul and husband Roman of New Britain, CT.; two granddaughters, four great-grandchildren, and his brother Stefan; all of Poland.

All services for Mr. Edmund Lesniak will be held privately.
