Earnestine (Eva) Dickerson Wingler, 84, passed away February 28,2023 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia.

Mrs. Wingler was born January 1,1939 in Glade Springs, Virginia to the late Morris Dickerson and Kate Trent. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ in Damascus, Virginia.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband of over fifty years, Raymond Junior Wingler; two daughters, Evelyn Joan Wingler and Alice Lynne Wingler; and brothers Kenneth Cook, Milt Dickerson and June Dickerson.

Ernestine is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Wingler and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will take place on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Arthur Wingler Cemetery, White Top, Virginia with Reverend James Walls officiating held to reunite Earnestine and Raymond after 7 years apart. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or any local animal shelter.

Proceed on highway 58 from Abingdon to Damascus. Turn right onto Douglas Drive and then turn right onto Jeb Stuart Highway (hwy 58) toward Konnarock. Turn left toward White Top. Turn Left onto Whitetop Gap Road. Cemetery is right past convenience store.
