Donald Joe Lloyd, 65, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA.

Mr. Lloyd was born November 01, 1960, to the late Garnett and JoAnn Thomas Lloyd in Abingdon, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents Garnett and JoAnn Thomas Lloyd.  Two brothers, Steven Lloyd of Honaker, Va and Michael Lloyd of Meadowview, Va.  His grandparents, Walter and Pearl Lloyd and James Ted and Bessie Thomas.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Hagee Lloyd; his daughters; Pamela Lloyd and Jennifer Lloyd (Phillip Whitley) of Glade Spring; two step-children, Rachel Wright and husband Eddie and Rodney Jones and wife Ashley; 11 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; brothers, Tommy Lloyd, Emory, Va., Bobby Lloyd and wife Robin of Saltville, Va., Gary Lloyd and wife Wanda of Glade Spring, Va., and David Lloyd and wife Betty Joey of Abingdon, Va.; also, several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. at Westwood Memorial Gardens in Chilhowie, Virginia.
