Donald Lynn Gray, 77, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Russell County Medical Center.

Donald was born on August 11, 1945 to the late Cecil and Dacy Gray. He was a farmer most of his life and drove a truck for over eighteen years.

Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Don Gray Jr.; step-son, James Gilbert, Jr.

Survivors include his loving wife of ten years, Shelby Gray; daughter, Lisa Chafin (Jimmy); son, David Gray (Michelle); brother, Bill Gray (Mary); two sisters, Linda Morrison (Roger), Sally Couch (William); step-children, P.J. Kegley (Guy), Joey Gilbert (Angel), and Crystal Stoots; special friends, Howard Whited (Mary); Kevin Osborne; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Frost Funeral Home with a service following at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Kirby Miller, Pastor Roger Hearl, and Pastor Teddy Rasnake officiating. Committal service will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Chafin, Jeffrey Stoots, Justin Stoots, Micah Gray, Garren Gray, Roger Morrison, and Harrison Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Mount Calvary and Chestnut Grove.
