Darrius Michael Carbary, 65, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Washinton County, Virginia on October 18, 1957. Darrius loved to fish, golf, and watch the Tennessee Titans. Darrius and Patty were high school sweethearts and were married 48 years. They held hands the first time on July 22, 1977, and for the last time August 25, 2023. Darrius loved his daughter, Beth, unconditionally and she was always the apple of his eye.

Darrius is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Patty Carbary; one daughter, who was the love of his life, Beth Greer and husband Andy. Darrius is also survived by one special uncle, Kenneth Carbary and special godson, Brian Carbary.

The family intends to hold a private service at a later date.
