Mr. Darrell Lee Boyd, 48, passed away on September 24, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Boyd was born, September 11, 1974 to the late Harrold Lee Boyd and Wanda Sue Parsons Boyd.

He loved to fish, have cook outs with his family and friends, and watching and cheering for his Virginia Tech Hokies. He received an IT degree from Virginia Highlands Community College where he then used it to work for several different industries. He coached many young athletes, including being a proud coach and father to his sons.

Survivors include his two sons, Caleb Boyd and Landon Boyd; uncle, Johnny Boyd and wife Peggy; Aunt, Billie Crewy; ex-wife Alicia; ex-mother-in-law, Gail Hutton and husband Jim; ex-father-in-law, Rick Smith; special ex-brother-in-law Dillon Hutton; ex-sister-in-law, Ashley Stilner; and many more special friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
