Danny Trigg Puckett, 74, passed away October 23, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was born June 13, 1950, to the late Dan and Louise Doane Puckett.

Danny had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished his walks at Sugar Hollow Park. He was a devoted family man, who adored his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by six siblings, Susan Frye, Myrtle Puckett, Kathleen Harris, Shirley Puckett, Bud Puckett, and Charles Puckett.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Jackie Puckett; children, Cherrie Puckett, Andrew Puckett, Kayla Gross and husband Richard, and Michael White; five grandchildren, Garrett Puckett, Bree Chapman, Arabella Gross, Theodore Gross, and Hayden White; one great-grandchild, Ashley James Puckett; one brother, Kyle Puckett. He is also survived by special friends James and Nancy Jarvis, his church family, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. at Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery in Abingdon, Virginia with Reverend Chris Duble officiating. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
