Connie Jane Ward Alexander, 67, went to be with the Lord Friday, December 22, 2023 at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

She was born December 31, 1955, in Smyth County, Virginia to the late Russell Ward and Jeanette Doane Ward.   She lived most of her life in Washington County and was a member of Fletcher's Chapel.

She is survived by her husband, Earl R. Alexander; two sons, Jason Alexander and wife Christine and Jeff Alexander and fiancé Alexis; one sister, Becky Buchanan; three brothers, Bobby Tuell, Calvin Tuell, and David Tuell; four grandchildren, Trevor Alexander, Wesley Alexander, Edith Alexander, and Cora Alexander; two step-grandchildren, Brayton Kennedy and Macie Kennedy.   Connie is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. at Counts Cemetery in Brumley Gap with Reverend Jerry A. Eggers officiating.   Those wishing to attend the service are asked to convene at the cemetery by 2:45 P.M.

Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Alexander, Mike Norris, Michael Mitchell, Britt White, Glenn Mitchell, Trever Alexander, Wesley Alexander, Phillip White and   additional family and friends.
