Clifford Lonnie Long, 80, passed away on April 6, 2026.

Born on February 14, 1946, he was the son of the late Clifford Epperson and Mary Hoss Long. Clifford worked as a landscaper and had a deep love for the outdoors. He especially cherished the time he spent with his family. He was a faithful member of Popular Ridge Christian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Jimmy, Ralph, and Mack Long; and two sisters, Katherine Goodson and Garnet Bott.

Clifford is survived by his loving wife, Diana B. Long; one son, Jason Lee Long of Piney Flats, Tennessee; three brothers, Gene Long (Rose), Marvin Long (Shirley), and Kenneth Long (Eileen); as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at The Poplar Ridge Christian Church Cemetery in Piney Flatts, Tennessee at 2:00 P.M. with Minister Brad Perry officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 P.M.

Clifford will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
