Clarence "Bea" Baumgardner born July 26, 1954 and passed away at his home on December 9, 2025. He was family, a friend, and like a daddy to us all.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Phillis Sue (Lester) Baumgardner; his parents Everett and Eulala Baumgardner; his brothers Roy and Everett Baumgardner; and his nephew Rick Baumgardner.

He is survived by his children of heart, Brad, Cathy, Chanzy, and Matthew Baumgardner. He is also survived by his brothers Don (Sue), David (Lisa), and Mark (Wanda) Baumgardner, all of Abingdon, Virginia. In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Violet (Baxter) Hicks of Meadowview, Virginia; Karen (Darrell) Kestner of Abingdon, Virginia; Velvet (Phillip) Salyers of Abingdon, Virginia; sister-in-law, Ruby Baumgardner; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Frost Funeral Home in Abingdon, Virginia from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Baumgardner and Pastor Gordon Smith officiating. Committal service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Baumgardner Family Cemetery in Alvardo, Virginia. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M.

Pallbearers will include Brad Baumgardner, Arian Kestner, PJ Salyers, Shawn Lawson, Walker Baumgardner, Matthew Baumgardner, Chase Baumgardner, and Tracy Wyatt.

Friends are family are welcomed to visit at Mark and Wanda Baumgardener's home.
