Chad Aaron Harless, 38, passed away on August 20, 2023, at his home in Abingdon, Virginia.

Chad was born on August 14, 1985, to Sara Johnson Harless and the late Larry Eugene Harless. Before Chad's illness, he loved riding four wheelers, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He also especially enjoyed watching wrestling on television. Chad was a Firefighter with the Abingdon Fire Department for three years.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sara Singleton Johnson.

Chad is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Wright Harless; two children, Hunter Harless and Bailey Harless; uncle, Jerry Harless and wife Donna; special uncle, Frank Johnson, Jr. and special friend, Lana Dearborn.

Services for Chad will be held privately at Forst Hills Memory Garden in Abingdon, Virginia.
