Candace "Candy" Ann Widner, 47, of Abingdon, Virginia, passed away on November 24, 2024.

Born to David and Carolyn Widner, Candy was known for her vibrant spirit and love for life. She enjoyed shopping, visiting flea markets, playing with her dogs, and cherishing time with her family.

Candy was preceded in death by her father, David "Frosty" Widner, and her brother, Oscar Widner.

She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Widner; three brothers, Cecil Widner, Glen Widner (Missy), and Tony Widner; her sister, Ashley Widner; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind three special friends and their families: Nicki Carter, Donna Wise, and Buster Jones.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Denton Valley Missionary Baptist Chruch with Pastor Tim Stevens officiating from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a service to follow.
