Brenda Carrico Sorah, 69, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023.

She was born July 3, 1953, to the late Betty Joseph and was raised by the late Carl and Edith Carrico. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 40 years, James Sorah. Brenda was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who loved more than anything to spend time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Carla Bidwell and husband Chris of West Hartford, Connecticut; son, Jacob Sorah, of Bristol, Virginia; sister, Karen Brown and husband Skip of Naples, Florida; brother, Mark Joseph and wife Laura of Ferndale, Washington; and two grandchildren, Lizzy Bidwell and Deegan Sorah, whom she loved unconditionally.

Love and appreciation go out to Dana Scott and David Shortt, two special cousins who were by her side in the final days.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Frost Funeral Home. Private entombment will be held at a later date.
