Brenda Kay Seymore, 83, of Abingdon, Virginia passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026.

Brenda was born in Damascus, Virginia on March 9, 1943 to RM and Grace Trivett Osborne. She was a 1960 graduate of Damascus High School and a long-time member of Greenfield Baptist Church in Meadowview, Virginia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Danny; brothers, Bob, Ron, and Dan Osborne; and sisters, Peggy Osborne, and Claudine Owens.

Kay is survived by her husband of 65 years, Vernie Seymore; son, Mike Seymore (Kelly) of Abingdon, Virginia; daughter Connie Everhart (Chad) of Rota, Spain. She also leaves behind grandsons, Caleb Seymore (Becca) of Raleigh, North Carolina; Cameron Everhart of San Diego, and Charles Everhart of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Services will be held privately.

Always a kind smile for everyone Kay will be deeply missed by her family and friends and all who knew her.
