Bonnie "Kathleen" Williams, age 95, went to her heavenly home on Aug. 2, 2026. She was in hospice care at NHC in Bristol, Va. She was born on Aug. 28, 1930, to Robert Lee and Gracie Dewdrop Hargett in Jackson, Mississippi.

She was a graduate of Shiloh High in Pickwick Dam, Tenn. She was a homemaker and a mother where she perfected her culinary skills in Southern food and canning vegetables fresh from the garden. She loved her family and her church family dearly. She was also known for her skill at Wheel of Fortune and playing Bingo with her friends at Brookdale.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gracie Hargett; her husband, Thomas A. Williams Sr.; sons, Thomas A. Williams Jr., Robert F. Williams, and Michael R. Williams; and grandson, Sam Williams.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Williams-Roat (Dan); daughter-in-law, Ann Williams; grandchildren, Robert Williams, Landon Williams, Justin Belcher, Sahra Morrell, and Becky Kirschman; great-grandchildren, Chase Williams, Harper, Brantley, and Ella Mae Morrell; and lifelong friend, Suzan Widener.

The family will receive friends on August 6, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Kevin Rogerson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the pallbearers: Don Roat, Robert Williams, Roger Roe, Ricky Widener, Danny Roe, and Ken Leonard; and to the honorary pallbearers: David Worley and Donald Roe.
