Bobby Sue Worley Warren, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Bobby Sue was born to the late Bob Sutton and Pauline Camper Worley on May 15, 1943.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sam Warren and her daughter Ginger Warren.

She is survived by her two sisters, Mary Lynn Worley Salyer Booher and Betty Ann Worley Counts and husband Danny; as well as four nephews and their families.

Bobby Sue graduated from Gate City High School in 1960 and later from Virginia Intermont College School of Nursing.

Immediately after graduation Bobby Sue began her nursing career at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virgina. She then worked for Dr. Roger A. Glover, Jr for many years before going to Abingdon ENT; where she helped set up the office for Dr. Roger D. Neal and worked with him until her retirement.

Bobby Sue was known for her kind and loving heart—she never met a stranger. Her warm personality made her a shining light in the lives of those who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 21st, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Frost Funeral Home Chapel in Abingdon, Virginia with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating.
