Bobby Hugh Humphrey, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. He was born on April 14, 1941, to the late June and George Humphrey.

Bobby was a dedicated member of Victory Baptist Church for over 40 years, where he faithfully served and formed lifelong friendships. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Judy Humphrey; together they shared 60 wonderful years of marriage built on love, commitment, and family.

A devoted Dodgers fan, Bobby rarely missed a game and enjoyed cheering on his team every season.

In addition to his parents and beloved wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Humphrey, and sister, Patty Humphrey.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Darlene Smith and husband Stephen, and Sherry Barker and husband Pat; his sisters, Barbara Price and Vivian Rasnake; his brothers, Wayne Humphrey and Tony Humphrey; grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Daniel Barker, and Brian Barker; his great-grandson, Asher Smith, his special friends Robert and Lulabell Combs.

Bobby's legacy of faith, kindness, and quiet devotion to family and church will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Frost Funeral Home Chapel in Abingdon, Virginia. Following the service, a procession will proceed to Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, Virginia, for the interment.
