Bobby Ray Baker, Sr., 83, went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at his residence.

Mr. Baker was born February 13, 1940 to the late George and Cora Reed Baker in Kentucky. He served his community for over 50 years in the ministry with over 37 of those years being at Sugar Grove Church of God Prophecy in Sugar Grove, VA.

Including his parents, he is preceded in death by, five brothers, Earl, Junior, Lonnie, Jimmy, and Charles Baker; one sister, Phillis Hall.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Priscilla Baker; two sons, Bobby Baker, Jr. and wife Rhonda and Mike Baker and wife Kim; one sister, Thelma Stanley; four grandchildren, Ryan Baker, Andrew Baker, Ethan Sharitz, and Austin Sharitz; one great grandson, Ryder Baker; several nieces and nephews, and a very special grand-pup, Grayci Faye.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Friday, September 15, 2023 at Frost Funeral Home with a service following at 12:00 P.M. with speaker Lisa Murrell. A committal service will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a local animal shelter of your choice and the VA Hospital.
