Birdie Susan Barker, 82, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Bristol Regional Hospital.

Birdie was born on September 21, 1941 to the late Clarence and Irene Latham.

Birdie was a founding and longtime member of Friendship Baptist Church of Bristol. She enjoyed reading and quilting and also loved trips to the beach. She loved spending time with her family but especially her granddaughter and great grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Birdie's memory are her loving husband, Bobby; daughter Tina McReynolds and husband Ronnie; granddaughter, Lakin Jones and husband Donald Jones, Jr; great grandchildren, Theia and Wade; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. in the mausoleum at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, Virginia with Pastor Dennis Burnette officiating. Craig Kilby, Eli Kilby, Ean Kilby, Donald Jones, Jr., Troy Latham and Logan Latham will serve as pallbearers.
