Betty Sharon Scott, 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 13, 2023, after a long battle with COPD.

The daughter of Guy and Lucy McAllister, she is survived by her husband of 58 years, Curtis Scott Sr., her son Curtis Scott Jr. (Kindra), and her daughter Shannon Osborne (McKinley). Sharon had three grandsons, Phillip Lester, Dillon Scott, and Hunter Osborne, whom she often referred to as the loves of her life, and she also had a granddaughter, Elizabeth Scott, who passed during infancy. Additionally, she is survived by one sister, Nancy Gregory, and one brother, Don McAllister. Sharon had several nieces and nephews, as well as two very special friends Margaret Hicks and Jane Jesse. She worked as a CNA at Valley Healthcare for more than 20 years.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Blackwell's Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Danny Medford officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 P.M.
