Betty Jackson, of Bristol, Virginia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born February 17th. 1941, to the late Joe and Ruby Lunsford.

She was preceded in death by Billy Jackson, her loving husband and son in law, Robbie Gobble.

Betty is survived by her son, Fred Jackson; daughter, Diane Gobble; daughter and beloved son in law, Mary Brooks (Mark); brother, Butch Lunsford (Rita); sister, Maxie Rayburn; a special sister-in-law, Linda Dowell (Bob); and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was the precious "Mamaw" to Matthew Brooks (Jami), Lora Lewis (Wes), Brandon Gobble (Ashely), Mark Gobble (Tiffany), and her honorary grandchildren Luke Hobbs (Sherri) and Matthew Hobbs (Nikki). She was blessed with 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Frost Funeral Home in Abingdon, Virginia.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, Virginia with Pastor Jerry Arnold officiating.

To know her, was to love her. Betty was beloved by all and will be sorely missed by her family, friends, and community.
