Bernard Lasley, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2025.

Born to the late Claude and Rosa Lasley, Bernard was a hardworking and devoted man who loved working outdoors. He cherished time spent with his friends, but above all, he adored being with his family. His faith was important to him, and he was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church in Bristol, Virginia. He served in the United States Army for three years and worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation for over 30 years.

In addition to his parents, Bernard was preceded in death by his two sisters, Virginia Hubbard and Geneva Baldwin, and his brother, Jeff Lasley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Lasley; two daughters, Donna Felty (Brian) and Angelia Lasley; three grandchildren, Briana Felty; Emily Felty; and Luke Felty; three sisters, Jean Davis, Patricia Beavers, and Barbara Bailey; one brother, Claude Laslie (Brenda); and several nieces and nephews who will dearly miss him.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, Virginia with Rev. Brad Davis officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the United States Army National Guard Honor Team.

Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to be at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M.
