Ada Louise Keller Cox, 75, passed away on June 7, 2026. Born on January 24, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Louis Keller and Roberta Norris Spears.

Ada was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Gilbert Cox; one daughter, McKayla Johnson (Nate); three sisters, Becky Keller, Racheal Keller, and Ann Howdyshell; four brothers, Walter Keller, Louis Keller, and John Spears; foster siblings Jan, Treva, Mark, and a special foster brother, Carlyle. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Braelynn Johnson, Bryleigh Johnson, Colsen Johnson, Caleb Spears, and Tanner Spears; and one great-granddaughter, Lainey Spears.

In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Carter; one brother, Bill Keller; and two sisters, Mary Woods and Ruth Vickers.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Frost Funeral Home in Abingdon, Virginia, with Pastor Matthew Tester officiating.

Burial will be held privately.
