Jack has been affiliated with the funeral home since 1976.  He is a  licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. He is a licensed pre-need insurance agent with Horizon Burial Trust.   He is a graduate of Gupton Jones College in Atlanta, GA where he was inducted as a member of the Pi Sigma Eta Honor Fraternity. Jack enjoys Snow Skiing and Fly-Fishing and is involved with the Kiwanis Club of Abingdon, Faith in Action and serves on numerous boards around Washington County, Virginia.  He serves on the membership committee for the International Order of the Golden Rule Funeral Home Association and also on the board of the historical Sinking Spring Cemetery in Abingdon.

Matt joined the firm in May of 2007 as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Born and raised in Big Stone Gap, VA he is a native of Wise County and a graduate of Powell Valley High School.  He is a 2005 graduate of Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA and is a member of Pi Sigma Eta National Morticians Honor Fraternity.   Matt is also a licensed pre-need agent with Horizon Burial Trust and serves as vice-president for the Southwest Virginia Funeral Directors Association.  He is an avid golfer and a member of Glenrochie Country Club in Abingdon.
